The Corona outbreak is disrupting the Social Status quo. To help combat the virus, we all have a responsibility to stay at home, restrict travel and practice social distancing. Beloved, staying at home enhances FAMILY TIME! There’s never been a better Time to connect with your spouse and children than now. This is the TIME to strengthen Family bonds, its Time to work on our Relationships. Beloved, as you know, TIME and COMMUNICATION are the Currencies of Great Relationship. If you fail to Invest Time in your Marriage, you can never reap the Dividend of LVE, Joy and Peace. Time spent with one’s spouse is a seed sown into the future. Couples, use this Time of L.O.C.K.D.O.W.N. wisely as you Connect together and spend TIME Together. A Couple can bond only if they spend time together. It’s equally important for Families to spend Time Together as well, this builds Better Family Life. Remember, Work, Job and Career will END one day, it is Family that will remain. Don’t lose your Family carelessly.

Now, WHY is it important to Spend Time Together as a Couple?

It is a major key to intimacy in Marriage, without being Together, you can’t be intimate.

In the plan of God for His people, Family is very important. Your spouse should be the most Important person to you after God, more important than your job, leisure, friends and extended family members. So plan to make your Marriage work, spend time with your spouse, give Attention to your spouse. Marriage does not work if Couples are not Together.

Beloved, during this pandemic, where there is increased stress from anxiety, uncertainty and social isolation at home, Parents need to keep their children busy. Home bound families must find simple ways to stay active and maximize their Time Together for the betterment of all. Keeping children busy entails Parenting. Parenting needs Investment of Time. Time is what you need as a Parent. You need Time to;

Teach,

Train,

Correct,

Instruct,

Chastise and

Pray for your child.

Do not just Teach your child, you are to;

Mentor,

Groom,

Coach and

Lead him/ her by the hand.

A child you do not stay with, you cannot influence or win. The saying goes “GOOD CHARACTER IS BOTH TAUGHT and CAUGHT”. So you must continue to WORK on yourself to be that GOOD ROLE MODEL God desires you to be. You will NOT fail God! May God bless you and your Family.

Parents we all need to innovate and think outside the box if we’re going to stay active and engaged while at home. We live in a connected world with access to technology that allows us to keep in touch and maintain relationships with important individuals in our lives. Let’s explore that. We can still make time in the day for regular outdoor activities like walking. Do so with your sweetheart- stroll out walking hand in hand. You can try running. Let it be fun, remember its Family Time. The key to success is making exercise a part of our everyday schedule.

Couples please Spend Quality Time together. Avoid fighting and misunderstanding anytime you are together. Let your spouse enjoy your existence. Never be bored with each other, be Creative about your romance. Prioritize your Family Time. Let spending Time with your Family be uppermost in your heart, DON’T negotiate it.
